1. What Binai Is
Binai is a personal AI assistant powered by Lightchain AIVM. It is operated by an individual developer and provided as-is for the Lightchain community. Binai is not a medical service, crisis hotline, law firm, financial adviser, or licensed professional of any kind.
2. AI Responses โ Not Professional Advice
AI-generated responses are for general informational and personal-assistant purposes only. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or inappropriate. Do not rely on Binai for medical, mental health, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions.
Binai is not a substitute for emergency services. If you are in crisis or may harm yourself or others, contact emergency services or a crisis line immediately (e.g. 988 in the US). Binai cannot keep you safe in an emergency.
3. Memory & Your Data
When you connect a wallet, Binai may store on our server:
- Your wallet address (used as your account identifier)
- Display name, language, and preferences you provide
- Memories, notes, reminders, and chat history you create in the app
- Subscription and usage records
Data is stored on third-party cloud infrastructure (currently Railway). We do not sell your data. You are responsible for what you ask Binai to remember. Do not store passwords, seed phrases, private keys, or highly sensitive secrets in chat or memories.
4. Voice & Device Permissions
Voice input uses your browser or device's microphone when you tap the mic button. Binai does not record or store audio files โ speech is converted to text locally by your browser where supported. Future mobile versions may request additional permissions (contacts, calendar, location) for assistant features; those will be disclosed before use.
5. Payments & No Refunds
When billing is enabled, subscription payments are made in LCAI on the Lightchain blockchain. All on-chain transactions are final and irreversible. No refunds will be issued under any circumstances, including service interruptions, dissatisfaction with AI output, beta downtime, accidental payment, or if the service shuts down.
LCAI price is dynamic โ the LCAI amount required for $1 USD (or any listed price) may change with market conditions.
6. Beta & Service Availability
Binai is in active beta. Features, limits, pricing, and availability may change without notice. The service may be slow, buggy, offline, or permanently discontinued at any time. AI responses depend on Lightchain AIVM and third-party infrastructure outside the operator's control.
7. No Warranty โ Service Provided AS-IS
THIS SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE OPERATOR DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR THAT AI OUTPUT WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE OPERATOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF BINAI, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DATA LOSS, SERVICE INTERRUPTION, INACCURATE AI OUTPUT, RELIANCE ON AI ADVICE, UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, OR HARM RESULTING FROM DELAYED OR UNAVAILABLE CRISIS SUPPORT. YOUR USE OF BINAI IS ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Binai to plan or facilitate illegal activity, harm to yourself or others, harassment, or abuse of the service. The operator may restrict or block access at any time.
